I learned some good things at church today

If God is talking How can I recognize His voice?
1. The Holy Spirit
2. His Word
3. Church
4. Answered Prayer
5. Learning to Recognize His voice
a. Through Experience
6. Does the Content Match What God Has Already Said?
7. Does the Style Sound Like Jesus? ie: pure, peace loving, gentle, willing to yield to others, full of mercy, and good deeds and sincerity.
8. Is the Message Supported by Wisdom?
9. Is my Analysis Confirmed by Consultation?
10. Will this draw me closer to Christ?

I cant recognize God's voice through:
1. Feelings
2. Circumstances
3. Religious Appearances

Thought I would share the sermon!! You get two today...yours and mine!

Hannah had a fun soccer game yesterday. We thought we had the whole rest of the day free. Johnny was sitting at the side lines cheering on Hannah when a boy came up to him and said "Johnny, our baseball game starts in the field right behind us in 20 minutes. Why aren't you warming up?"

There went our free day.........

I raced home to get his uniform and off we went with our folding chairs in hand to the field right next to us....for another 2 1/2 hours....

The kids were bawling, cold and hungry.

Today is a repeat of yesterday. I told John that we need to take 2 seperate cars to church. He can race off with Johnny right after service to run him around and be stressed. I am going to take my time and talk to people in the lobby and saunter on home.....(I got the look from him today at church that we need to go and NOW) This Sunday is the last Sunday I will get a dirty look from him..............

I am comtemplating talking to the mom that kicked Hannah out of the house the other day. If I do, I will let you know....for now....I hope you are all having a relaxing day!!!
