The ballet recital is coming up!

Well, we are on our way to Hannah's ballet recital rehersal at Lake Forest High School.  I never thought I would be saying that.  I thought she had quit for good, but nope, MY dream has come true.  We put on her make up and away we went.

She looked happy in the car.  And veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery cute.

That's all the pictures I have for now..........and this is just the pre-show..wait until the recital on Saturday.  More to come...........I am going to take a million pictures because I know she is going to quit dancing on me and then I will have to grieve the loss all over again.  So be happy for me this week.  Putting make up and a pretty ballet dress on Hannah NEVER happens.

Not too much going on this week.  I drove down to Northeastern Illinois University on Monday in the city to talk to a counselor about signing up for some Social Work classes.  John was super excited that I was going to pursue this and now he is back pedaling.  I'm not going to push it.  He doesn't want to spend the money.  I have to wait and see if he agrees.  Classes start June 7th so if he doesn't give me the green light before then I can't sign up for a class.

We are taking Holly to the pound tomorrow to see the cats for her birthday and then she wants to buy some Subway sandwiches and go to the beach and feed the seagulls.  It sounds pretty cheap to me!  So we are all excited about it.  She is having 2 little girls come home after school to share in the exciting day.  I'm sure it will be fun.

We have a job fair at work tomorrow so I will be interviewing applicants allllllllllllll day long.  I'm sure I will have a headache afterwards.

I threw in the towel for working in the lunchroom anymore.  Shelly, I feel your pain....quiting your job...I started hating mine-sweeping the floors after all those kids left and yelling at the Jr. Highers all the time. Plus I hated the lunchroom supervisor and even reported her to the principle yesterday.  I'll tell you all about that later.  More drama..

Other than that I live out on the baseball field.
