fun stuff, tasks, interesting stuff

Well, alot is going on this week.  Some fun stuff.

Fun stuff:
1.  The kids will be at bible camp every night for the next 5 days.  So John and I will get to have date   night for a whole week and use up all his Starbucks gift cards!

2.  We went to the Wisconsin Dells Thursday and had a blast.  I even tried "THE PLUNGE".  One of those super scary mega high slides that you shoot straight down on.  It was great.  (I thought of Dan W. when I went down the COWABUNGA.  We rode on that ride together a few years back)  It's still just as fun Dan!

3.  We went to the Scottish festival yesterday in Oakbrook and ate meat pies and tatties, watched the stone throws and log tosses, listened to a celtic band, listened to lots of bagpipers, and the best part......watching the shirtless men play a mean game of rugby.

Tasks:

1.  Joey and Hannah will try out for the play Annie tomorrow at theater camp.  They go every morning for three hours for the next 5 weeks.

2.  Hannah starts ballet on Tuesday nights for the next 6 weeks.

3.  Johnny's travel BB team is playing all week.

4.  I have to help Joey clean out Linus' pen tomorrow after theater camp

5.  Gymnastics starts tomorrow night for the girls.

6.  I have to go to work.

7.  I need to call mom.....

Interesting things:

1.  I wrote my first paper for Sociology.

2.  I was with a patient who died right while I was singing to her tonight at the hospital.

3.  We are taking care of our neighbors lizard for a month and I have to feed him live crickets, which have to be coated with this vitamin powder before I put them in.  It can get pretty tricky.

That's about all that's going on this week.

I'll be back.......xoxoxoxo

How the heck do you coat a live cricket?? Are you the one touching that thing? You are a brave soul, always willing to try anything..that plunge doesn't look like fun. Kathleen is so like you!! She will jump in and try anything.. Our theater is doing Annie also..Kathleen is not in it though. Had too much going on. Good luck on your paper!!!

to coat a live cricket you need to put the vitamin powder in a baggie. Then you throw the 2 crickets in the baggie and quote "shake them all about". You then throw the crickets in the aquarium. the tricky part is trying to get only 2 crickets out of the box with 50 of them jumping around.
