Fired

Well, I got fired today from Home Instead Senior Care.  John was proud of me for lasting for 5 years.  I think I won the prize for the longest run in the office.  My boss called me at home today and told me not to come back into the office because her husband couldn't get passed the fact that I challenged how he talked to me.  He wanted me gone.  She told me "I was a good kid" and said she would put my things in my office in a box and send them to me in the mail.  I did spend the 500 dollar bonus I got last week from him on a new "gel fuel fireplace" for the basement.  John said that I will always think of him every time I look at that fireplace.  I told him "Yep, I will-I will think of him burning in hell every time I see the flames burning in that fireplace."  Pardon my french, but that man was a monster to work for.  It's a funny thing-I prayed and asked God to weed out all the useless things in my life because I felt like I was running on a tread mill all the time.  That night my small group split up and a few weeks later I was fired from my job.  I guess He took my prayer pretty seriously.

Our trip to the Smokey's was nice outside of all the fighting and meltdowns that kids had.  It had to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.  The snow was unlike anything I had ever seen.  I'd like to go back in the summer to see the national park.  All of that was closed due to the tons of snow they had that week. 

That's about it.  I am going to enjoy coffee with my friend tomorrow morning for the first time in a long time. I am going to sign off with a picture of this new fireplace I ordered.   You put flammable gel cannisters in the fake wood and light them and it looks like a real fire place ( at least that's what the add said)....
