Well, I haven't blogged for a while because you know everything I am doing. Nothing new here. Just call me a "cabbie" as I am in my car most of the day. John is gone coaching football 6 nights a week so I am alone juggling it all.
The house is trashed most of the time unless I know someone is stopping by (which is not too often) and in that case I just kick everything under the couch.
The dishwashers been broke for 4 months and John won't pay to fix it. I curse him every time I enter the kitchen and a cloud of fruit flies rise up out of the kitchen sink and off all the dirty dishes and coagulated milk bowls. I keep a vacuum close by and suck them all up when I see them. It seems to work, just in case you ever get any fruit flies.
Joey is trying out for the school play "A Charlie Brown's Christmas". He wants to be Linus. He has been practicing his Linus voice and I must say, he does a pretty good job of imitating that Peanuts character. Try outs are tomorrow. He is playing soccer every day after school w/Johnny as well. I spend from 3p-5p in the school library with the girls killing time. (like my day isn't long enough).
Northbrook didn't have enough kids that wanted to play house Bantam hockey (13-14yr. olds) this season so we have to go to Highland Park (25 minutes away) to play. All the Northbrook kids his age are playing travel hockey and we don't want any part of that. A coach out there saw Johnny play in Northbrook and invited him to play for their team. And of course, John offered to be an asst. coach. I hate that. I am stuck again entertaining the kids at the rink.
Hannah is busy with dance. She is dancing 3 days a week and seems to enjoy it. Her first show with the dance company is in December. I have to sell Yankee Candles for the dance company fund raiser. I threw it out at work and people bought the $5 car deodorizers to be nice. I HATE fund raising. I am going to have to buy all those stupid candles myself. (we are required to sell 8 items)....John will be mad.
Work is going well. I get either smothered by kisses when I walk in the house of a senior or I get satan in human form. They are either glad we are helping care for them or mad that we are taking away their independence. Hospice is still great but the hours are tiring. (Facebook doesn't help either).
I joined the church choir after some arm twisting by the choir director. He never talks to me in church so he must have been desperate. Another night I am gone......
I do have a few highlights! I won that $500 shopping spree on facebook! I was really excited. I also am going to spend the night at a friends house tomorrow night w/a bunch of girlfriends. She lives in Wi. right on the lake. It will be great. I also bought a "Budget Travel Magazine" subscription which I can't wait to leaf through. (that last one was a lame highlight but a highlight none the less)
there's more but didn't want to write a book.......
bye

I have the budget travel magazine. It is interesting but we never would do any of the things in it. I saved them just in case..
Choir directors are always desperate! Matt has been recruited at his old person choir at church also.
