Well, Johnny had a great birthday. We had 40 kids. I am SOOOOO glad that we had outdoor activities planned and they didn't mind the cold and drizzle. We started out with hot dogs, brats, chips, fruit and veges. After that we gathered in the basement for some "minute to win it" games. I heard the the girls said they were bored. Panic set it. I said to John he better get them out to the park and have his whistle in hand. We took a 15 minute walk down to the park and he ran "capture the flag" for 2 hours. The kids had a blast. We then came home for cake. It was so fun hearing 40 kids gathered in the dining room singing "happy birthday" to the top of their lungs. I got it on tape and have been trying to figure out how to download it to my blog. Sometimes I hate computers. When I get it figured out I will do it.
Here are some pics of his party.
This was the game where you are trying to get the oreo from your forehead into your mouth w/out touching the cookie. One of his friends just stood there with the cookie stuck on his forhead, looking at me and not knowing what to do. I knew at that precise moment I was in trouble and we needed a Plan B
Here are some cute pictures of Holly dressed up in a wig before the party...
