Well, I got in trouble yesterday.
That seems to happen to me a lot.
A husband in our small group who works at the kids school didn't apparently like my driving.
Imagine that?
Going too fast; his kids jumped out of his car w/o looking; I "stopped short"; he made a scene.
I went to his office to apologize- He made another scene.
How do I attract scenes?
I went home; called John.....and cried....."nobody likes me....they yell at me......I was just trying to be funny....."
John, "Bridgette, stop trying to be funny- No more teasing, it always get you in trouble."
So, I'm trying to not be so funny--maybe a little more serious. I'll see how long I can last being serious.
Joey is on the volley ball team now. A kid dropped out so he got called to play.
So much excitement because today was the first game.........
School nurse called...."Joey's sick. Come get him."
Poor Joey. Things never seem to go his way.
That's it for now. I'm leaving Starbucks and picking up Hannah from dance.
I have small group tonight--
with the husband who was mean to me.
John won't be home tonight.
I find myself in awkward situations a lot.
Hate that.

How did small group go for you? Seems to me you and Chris both have had small group problems and I don't understand why the people that are suppose to be most supportive and prayerful of their friends are the ones most mean spirited in their actions. Then christians wonder why people have a problem with them...
