Well, I took my final for Anthropology and got a perfect score....Yes-me...the one who got D's in school. So, I ended up with an A for the class. My Macroeconomics book comes in a few days and I am dreading that. I know I will have absolutely no interest in it, but will have to get through it. During this whole school process I am declaring that I am officially hooked on Caffeine. I can't get through the day with out the "lift" I need to read my text books etc.. I find myself buying more coffee than makeup--which means this is a serious addiction. I'm going to have to find a way to wean off of it.
Our van broke down this morning while I was taking the kids to school. I have to say-God is good- I made it to the side of the road. No one had to push me out of the way and we only had a 15 minute walk home. The kids fought the entire way, Joey's back pack broke and all his books fell out, and each child tripped and fell at least once. I had to go #2 so I was trying to walk as fast as I could go while shouting, "Mommy can't help you up out of the gravel! She has to go #2 badly. Get up off the ground, pick the rocks out of your hands and I'll get you a band-aid when you get home!" I made it w/o incident. (It becomes more of an emergency the older you get).
Johnny was chosen to play in the Northbrook Pony All-Star Game. He was really excited. His game, of course, is Sunday-the day I have to work. He will be pitching, so I am sure he (and John) will be nervous that day. I always miss the good stuff...
I had a nice time at Mom's. She was busy cooking as usual, and thankfully the kids ate everything up.
I am having a purse party at my house in a few weeks-trying to raise money for Zambia. I hopefully will get a good turnout. I'll let you know how it all goes.
Not much else.
Looking forward to the Windett party and Spa Day!!
