10 Signs of Summer

10 Signs of summer:  

#1.  Late night baseball games=3 crying children

#2.  Cursing drivers because of construction EVERYWHERE

#.3  A Pedicure : )  That always makes me happy!

#4.  Short Hair Cuts

First picture is of Johnny hanging his head out the window after his haircut, trying to get it "just right". 

This next one is of him looking at me with a "I hate this new haircut" look.  I think it's cute on him.  He doesn't have 'wings' for bangs anymore--though his whole baseball team told him last night, "Oh look, it's Justin Bieber!"  He's not real thrilled with that..

#5  The kids show off their work at school-

And then they say good bye to their teachers.

#6  Camps and show tunes being sung in the house. 

Joey is going to Wheaton College for a 3 day camp next weekend.  Johnny starts tackle football camps. Joey starts a 6 week Musical Theater camp every day from 9-3. 

#7  Swimming lessons..

I didn't make Johnny do it again.  He was the big kid with a bunch of little kids and oh, the humiliation of it all as Joey was in the 'diving board section' making fun of Johnny as he practiced the front crawl w/ 3rd graders.

#8 Lots of little neighborhood kids start congregating at our door step wanting Johnny to come out and 'play'.

#9  Our freezer becomes full of brats and our refrigerator becomes full of watermelon.

#10  I start hearing the question "What are you going to do today?" when I wake up in the morning.
