Family Camp-The absolute best part of our summer!

Covenant Point Bible Camp was the Bomb!!
We all smelled bad, we were exhausted, we tried things we had never done before, we pushed ourselves to the limit; and it was the best time we have ever had as a family.

Here is Joey on the "High Ropes"

Johnny and Joey and their new friend Teddy.  He was one of the Pastor's kid that was speaking during the week.  They were a great family.  They had 4 kids-all the same ages and genders.  We hung out with them during most of the week.

This is Holly dancing with a counselor named Jaimie.  She was great and Holly loved her.

This was called Family Bowling.  It rained one of the days we were there so this was one of the indoor activities we did.  Super fun.

Johnny and John's favorite part of family camp--kayaking.  They did it every day.

Here are the girls playing on the beach front.

We took a trip to Bond Falls, Mi. about 45 minutes away from camp.  It was beautiful.  Here are a few pictures.

 Holly found a frog  : )

We played Brave Heart.  Yes-painted our faces and wore plaid skirts while loud "brave heart" music was playing throughout the camp grounds.  It was basically capture the flag but with a lot more testosterone.  We all had fun.

This was at a place called "Horse Race Rapids"  We walked a mile into the hills and then went cliff jumping off of 20 foot cliffs into these racing rapids.  I didn't want to do it so John and the boys jumped while I watched with the girls.

Holly had a girls night in the camp tree house one night.  This is where she slept.  The boys also slept together one night.  Hannah didn't want to go....too scared.

All the families together the first day of camp.

Johnny on the low ropes course

Great picture of the chapel we worshiped in twice a day.

Johnny jumping off the "Mountain Dew" swing into the lake.  Joey and John did it as well.  I took a pass but rode the zip line into the lake.

Johnny on the tarzan swing.  We all did this one..super fun..

Another picture of us all crossing Bond Falls

Yeah- so we were freaking out when the kids got farther along the falls than we did and started to climb down on the slippery rock.  They couldn't hear us yelling to get back.  All we could do was pray....They survived..

We all went horse back riding : )

 Chapel time

The boys and their new friends

 Holly loving chapel time..

 The girls new friends

 Hannah loving worship

And Last but not least...Holly lost her front tooth..

I have to say it was the best time ever.  Johnny and Joey are
begging me to let them go back for the Jr and Sr high camp next summer.  Let me know if anyone wants to go with them.  It's only $320 bucks for 7 days and a bus takes you to and from the camp.  Just google their website at Covenant Point Bible Camp, Iron River, MI.
